Description
The Biondi-Santi Reserve is the first and oldest Brunello di Montalcino wine produced since 1888 at Tenuta Greppo with rigorous and selective criteria. It is an exceptional and rare wine made only 42 times in over a century and a half with grapes from the oldest and most qualified vineyards. The 2016 Reserve stands out for its grace and great structure with intense notes of ripe red fruit, dried flowers, balsamic vinegar, spices, leather and minerals. On the palate it is powerful and harmonious with fine tannins, lively acidity and great freshness that ensure long evolution over time. The finish is long and enveloping with hints of aromatic herbs and salinity.
