Description
The Barolo DOCG Arborina is a wine that reflects the personality and philosophy of Elio Altare: a wine that respects tradition but looks to the future, a wine that expresses the territory but also the personal interpretation of the producer, a wine that can conquer the most demanding palates but also the most curious ones. It is a wine that expresses the best of the terroir of La Morra, characterized by calcareous and sandy soils that give the wine elegance and finesse. The cool and windy climate favors a slow and balanced maturation of the grapes, which reach a perfect concentration of sugars, acidity and polyphenols. It has an intense ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose it offers a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, sweet spices and tobacco. On the palate it is warm, enveloping, robust and structured, with fine tannins and a long aromatic persistence.
