Castellare di Castellina
Castellare di Castellina is a historic winery in Chianti Classico, founded in 1977, which produces organic and high-quality wines. Its winemaker, Alessandro Cellai, was a student of Giacomo Tachis, the master of modern Italian wine. The wines of Castellare di Castellina are the result of the passion and vision of Paolo Panerai, who has been able to enhance the territory and its peculiarities. Castellare di Castellina stands out for its attention to tradition, innovation, and the environment. The environment, flora and fauna of Chianti Classico are fundamental elements for Castellare di Castellina, which from the beginning has renounced the use of herbicides, pesticides, and synthetic chemical products, anticipating a trend followed by other companies only recently towards organic viticulture. As evidence of this commitment, a little bird has been placed on all the winery labels since the first harvest.
