Vietti

The Vietti winery is a historic and prestigious reality of the Piedmontese wine scene. Founded at the end of the 19th century by Carlo Vietti, it is located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Langhe, a land of great red wines such as Barolo and Barbaresco, expressions of the Nebbiolo grape variety. Vietti also produces excellent Barbera and quality white wines, the result of a tradition that has been able to renew itself with experimentation and innovation. Since 2016, the winery has been owned by the Krause family, who inherited the legacy of Luca Currado Vietti and his wife Elena, carrying on the project of enhancing the terroir and the quality of the wines. Vietti is a winery that combines artisanal wisdom with strategic vision, respecting nature and the dialogue between man and land. The quality of Vietti's wines is the result of careful selection in the vineyard and artisanal work in the cellar, where each cru is interpreted with sensitivity and competence, as per tradition. Vietti was, in fact, the first winery in the Langhe to vinify separately the individual "cru" since the 60s.
